येषां धर्मश्िता बुद्धि: श्रद्दधानाश्च ये नराः । तेषां स्यादुपरदेष्टव्य: सरहस्यो महाफल:,जिनकी बुद्धि सदा धर्ममें ही लगी रहती है और जो मनुष्य परम श्रद्धालु हैं, उन्हींको इस महान्‌ फलदायक रहस्ययुक्त धर्मका उपदेश देना चाहिये

yeṣāṃ dharma-sthitā buddhiḥ śraddadhānāś ca ye narāḥ | teṣāṃ syād upadeṣṭavyaḥ sa-rahasyo mahā-phalaḥ ||

พระมหีศวรตรัสว่า “ชนเหล่าใดมีปัญญาตั้งมั่นในธรรม และเปี่ยมด้วยศรัทธาลึกซึ้ง—พึงมอบคำสอนธรรมอันมีนัยเร้นลับและให้ผลยิ่งใหญ่นี้แก่ชนเหล่านั้นเท่านั้น”
