Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | salilasya aghaṃ jaliṃ pūrṇam akṣatāś ca ghṛtottarāḥ | somasya uttiṣṭhamānasya taj jalaṃ cākṣatāṃś ca tān |

Translation

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ในวันเพ็ญ ครั้นจันทร์กำลังขึ้น หากผู้ใดยืนหันหน้าไปทางพระจันทร์แล้วถวายอัญชลีที่เต็มด้วยน้ำ พร้อมอักษตะและเนยใส การถวายนั้นนับว่าได้บำเพ็ญอัคนิโหตระสำเร็จแล้ว ด้วยการกระทำนั้นเอง ไฟศักดิ์สิทธิ์ทั้งสาม—เช่น คารหปัตยะเป็นต้น—ย่อมถือว่าได้รับอาหุติอย่างถูกต้องครบถ้วน”
