आपन्नश्चापदो मुच्येद्‌ बद्धो मुच्येत बन्धनात्‌ | मुच्येत्तथा55तुरो रोगाद्‌ दुःखान्मुच्येत दु:खित:,इतना ही नहीं, इसके श्रवण अथवा पठनसे आपत्तिमें पड़ा हुआ आपत्तिसे, बन्धनमें बँधा हुआ बन्धनसे, रोगी रोगसे और दु:खी दुःखसे छुटकारा पा जाता है

āpannaś cāpado mucyed baddho mucyeta bandhanāt | mucyet tathāturo rogād duḥkhān mucyeta duḥkhitaḥ ||

ผู้ประสบเคราะห์ย่อมพ้นจากเคราะห์ ผู้ถูกจองจำย่อมหลุดพ้นจากพันธนาการ; ฉันนั้นเอง ผู้ป่วยย่อมพ้นจากโรค และผู้ทุกข์โศกย่อมพ้นจากความทุกข์
