अहिंसकानि भूतानि दण्डेन विनिहन्ति यः । आत्मन: सुखमन्विच्छन् स प्रेत्य न सुखी भवेत्,जो मनुष्य अपने सुखकी इच्छा रखकर अहिंसक प्राणियोंको डंडेसे मारता है, वह परलोकमें सुखी नहीं होता है
ahiṃsakāni bhūtāni daṇḍena vinihanti yaḥ | ātmanaḥ sukham anvicchan sa pretya na sukhī bhavet ||
ผู้ใดแสวงหาความสุขของตนแล้วใช้ไม้เรียวทำร้ายหรือฆ่าสัตว์ผู้ไม่เบียดเบียน ผู้นั้นครั้นตายไปย่อมไม่พบความสุขในปรโลก
