मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

एकविंशे तु दिवसे यो भुड्क्ते होकभोजनम्‌

ekaviṁśe tu divase yo bhuṅkte hokabhojanam, sevyamāno varastrībhiḥ krīḍaty amaravat prabhuḥ |

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ผู้ใดรักษาวินัยแห่งอัคนิโหตระทุกวัน แล้วในวันที่ยี่สิบเอ็ดจึงรับประทานเพียงครั้งเดียว—เป็นภัตตาหารเรียบง่ายตามกำหนด—ผู้นั้นย่อมบรรลุโลกทิพย์ทั้งหลาย ที่นั่นเขานั่งในวิมานอันโอฬาร มีสตรีผู้เลิศมาปรนนิบัติ ดำรงตนดุจเจ้าเหนือหมู่อมร สนุกสนานในสุขทิพย์ โดยทุกข์มิอาจแตะต้องได้”
