नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
एवमस्त्विति संद्ृष्टा: प्रत्यूचुस्तं नराधिप । कुन्तीनंदन! नरेश्वर! पितामह ब्रह्माका यह कथन सुनकर सब देवता हर्षसे खिल उठे और बोले--'भगवन्! ऐसा ही हो”
evam astv iti saṃdṛṣṭāḥ pratyūcus taṃ narādhipa | kuntīnandana nareśvara | pitāmaha brahmā ca yaḥ kathanaṃ śrutvā sarve devā harṣeṇa khilībhūya ūcuḥ—“bhagavan, evaṃ eva bhavatu” ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่นราธิป ข้าแต่โอรสแห่งกุนตี ข้าแต่นเรศวร! “เอวมัสตุ—ขอให้เป็นเช่นนั้น” เขาทั้งหลายมองด้วยความเห็นชอบแล้วตอบแก่ท่าน ครั้นได้ฟังถ้อยคำของปิตามหะและพระพรหมแล้ว เหล่าเทพทั้งปวงก็เบิกบานดุจดอกไม้บาน และกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ภควन् ขอให้เป็นดังนั้นเถิด”
