पितृन्‌ संतर्पयित्वा तु बलिं कुर्याद्‌ विधानतः । वैश्वदेवं ततः कुर्यात्‌ पश्चाद्‌ ब्राह्यगवाचनम्‌

Transliteration

pitṝn santarpayitvā tu baliṁ kuryād vidhānataḥ | vaiśvadevaṁ tataḥ kuryāt paścād brāhyagavācanam ||

Translation

ครั้นบำรุงปิตฤทั้งหลายให้พอใจด้วยเครื่องบูชาตามพิธีแล้ว พึงถวายบะลีประจำวันโดยชอบธรรม ต่อจากนั้นพึงประกอบพิธีไวศวเทวะ และท้ายที่สุดจึงเข้าสู่การสาธยายและการสั่งสอนวิชชาพราหมณ์อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์—นี่แลคือการจัดระเบียบหน้าที่ของคฤหัสถ์ตามธรรม
