उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

वक्तव्यमिह पृष्टेन विनिश्ित्य विनिश्चयम्‌ | स चोपदेश: कर्तव्यो येन धर्ममवाप्रुयात्‌,यहाँ किसीके पूछनेपर बहुत सोच-विचारकर शास्त्रका जो सिद्धान्त हो वही बताना चाहिये तथा उपदेश वह करना चाहिये जिससे धर्मकी प्राप्ति हो

vaktavyam iha pṛṣṭena viniścitya viniścayam | sa copadeśaḥ kartavyo yena dharmam avāpnuyāt |

เมื่อมีผู้ถาม พึงกล่าวหลังไตร่ตรองให้แน่ชัด โดยยกข้อสรุปอันมั่นคงตามศาสตรา; และพึงให้คำสั่งสอนที่นำผู้ถามไปสู่การบรรลุธรรม
