ययातिरुवाच यदर्हों5हं तद् यतध्व॑ं सन्त: सत्याभिनन्दिन: । अहं तन्नाभिजानामि यत् कृतं न मया पुरा
Translation
ยยาติกล่าวว่า “จงเพียรเพื่อสิ่งที่ข้าสมควรได้รับเถิด เพราะสัตบุรุษย่อมสรรเสริญสัจจะเท่านั้น สิ่งใดที่ข้าไม่เคยกระทำมาก่อน ข้าก็ยังไม่เห็นว่าสมควรกระทำในบัดนี้”
