प्रत्यूचु: सहिता: सर्वे ताराधिपमपूजयन् । एवं ते कथितं राजंस्तव जन्म पितु: पितु:
pratyūcuḥ sahitāḥ sarve tārādhipam apūjayan | evaṃ te kathitaṃ rājan tava janma pituḥ pituḥ |
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—เหล่าเทพทั้งปวงพร้อมเพรียงกันตอบรับว่า “ตถาสตุ” แล้วบูชาจันทรา ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งหมู่ดาว. ข้าแต่พระราชา! ดังนี้แล ข้าพเจ้าได้เล่าเรื่องกำเนิดของปิตามหะของพระองค์ให้ทรงสดับ—ให้ประจักษ์ว่า ความยินยอมของทวยเทพและความเคารพต่อระเบียบแห่งจักรวาล เป็นรากฐานแห่งความสืบเนื่องของราชวงศ์.
