कुरुवंशप्रश्नः—दुःषन्तस्य राजधर्मवर्णनम्
Kuru Lineage Inquiry and the Portrait of King Duḥṣanta’s Rule
स भवान् विस्तरेणेमां पुनराख्यातुम्हति । न हि तृप्यामि पूर्वेषां शृण्वानश्वरितं महत्,विप्रवर! आप पुन: पूरे विस्तारके साथ यह कथा सुनावें। मैं अपने पूर्वजोंके इस महान् चरित्रको सुनते-सुनते तृप्त नहीं हो रहा हूँ
sa bhavān vistareṇemāṃ punar ākhyātum arhati | na hi tṛpyāmi pūrveṣāṃ śṛṇvann āścaritaṃ mahat, vipravara |
โอ้พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ! ท่านควรเล่ากถานี้อีกครั้งโดยพิสดาร เพราะข้าพเจ้าไม่อิ่มเอมเลยเมื่อได้ฟังมหากิจและจริยาวัตรอันยิ่งใหญ่ของบรรพชนของข้าพเจ้า
