कुरुवंशप्रश्नः—दुःषन्तस्य राजधर्मवर्णनम्

इदं शतसहस्रं हि श्लोकानां पुण्यकर्मणाम् | सत्यवत्यात्मजेनेह व्याख्यातममितौजसा,असीम प्रभावशाली सत्यवतीनन्दन व्यासजीने पुण्यात्मा पाण्डवोंकी यह कथा एक लाख श्लोकोंमें कही है
idaṁ śatasahasraṁ hi ślokānāṁ puṇyakarmaṇām | satyavatyātmajeneha vyākhyātam amitaujasā ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “มหากถาศักดิ์สิทธิ์นี้ ประกอบด้วยหนึ่งแสนโศลก อันเต็มไปด้วยกุศลกรรม ได้ถูกอธิบายไว้ ณ ที่นี้โดยโอรสแห่งสัตยวตี คือฤษีวยาส ผู้มีเดชานุภาพหาประมาณมิได้”
