Āstīka Stops the Sarpa-satra; Royal Closure and Protective Phalaśruti (आस्तीकः सर्पसत्रनिवर्तनम्)
सर्व विस्तरशस्तात भवाझुछंसितुमहति । सर्पसत्रविधानज्ञविज्ञेया: के च सूतज,तात! ये सब बातें आप विस्तारपूर्वक बताइये। सूतपुत्र! यह भी सूचित कीजिये कि सर्पसत्रकी विधिको जाननेवाले दिद्दानोंमें श्रेष्ठ समझे जानेयोग्य कौन-कौनसे महर्षि वहाँ उपस्थित थे
sarvaṃ vistaraśas tāta bhavān uccheṃsitum arhati | sarpasatravidhānajñā vijñeyāḥ ke ca sūtaja ||
เศานกะกล่าวว่า “พ่อหนุ่ม! จงเล่าเรื่องทั้งหมดนี้โดยพิสดารเถิด และโอ บุตรแห่งสูตะ! จงบอกด้วยว่า ณ ที่นั้นมีฤๅษีองค์ใดบ้างซึ่งนับว่าเป็นผู้รู้ชำนาญในระเบียบพิธีสรรพสัตรอย่างยิ่ง”
