सेयमित्यवगच्छामि नानृतं वक्तुमुत्सहे । नानृतं हि सदा लोके पूज्यते दानवोत्तम,यह वही है, ऐसा मैं जानता हूँ। इस विषयमें मैं झूठ नहीं बोल सकता। दानवश्रेष्ठ! लोकमें असत्यकी कभी पूजा नहीं होती है
seyam ity avagacchāmi nānṛtaṁ vaktum utsahe | nānṛtaṁ hi sadā loke pūjyate dānavottama ||
โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่ทานวะ! ข้าพเจ้ารู้แน่ว่านางผู้นี้คือผู้นั้นจริง ข้าพเจ้าไม่อาจเอ่ยคำเท็จในเรื่องนี้ได้ เพราะในโลกนี้ ความไม่จริงไม่เคยเป็นสิ่งที่ควรแก่การสักการะยกย่อง
