तत्र मन्त्रविदां श्रेष्ठस्तपोवृद्धों महाव्रत: । जग्राह पार्णिं धर्मात्मा विधिमन्त्रपुरस्कृतम्‌,वहाँ मन्त्रवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ तपोवृद्ध महाव्रती धर्मात्मा जरत्कारुने शास्त्रीय विधि और मन्त्रोच्चारणके साथ नागकन्याका पाणिग्रहण किया

tatra mantravidāṁ śreṣṭhas tapovṛddho mahāvrataḥ | jagrāha pāṇiṁ dharmātmā vidhimantrapuraskṛtam ||

ณ ที่นั้น ชรัตการุผู้ทรงธรรม ผู้เลิศในวิชามนตร์ สุกงอมด้วยตบะ และมั่นคงในมหาวรต ได้รับพาณิของธิดานาคตามพิธีแห่งศาสตรา พร้อมด้วยมนตร์ที่กำหนดไว้
