एवमस्त्विति त॑ चापि प्रत्यूचु: सत्यवादिन: । तान् कश्यप उवाचेदं सान्त्वपूर्व प्रजापति:,सत्यवादी महर्षि वालखिल्योंने “हाँ ऐसी ही बात है” कहकर अपने कर्मकी सिद्धिका प्रतिपादन किया। तब प्रजापति कश्यपने उन्हें सान्त्वनापूर्वक समझाते हुए कहा --
evam astv iti te cāpi pratyūcuḥ satyavādinaḥ | tān kaśyapa uvācedaṃ sāntvapūrvaḥ prajāpatiḥ ||
เหล่าฤๅษีผู้สัตย์จริงก็กล่าวตอบว่า “เอวมัสตุ” คือ “เป็นเช่นนั้นเถิด” แล้วประชาบดี กัศยปะ จึงปลอบประโลมก่อน และกล่าวกับท่านทั้งหลายด้วยวาจาอ่อนโยนสงบเย็น
