Garuḍa Learns the Cause of Vinatā’s Bondage and the Nāgas Demand Amṛta (Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 23)

न भी: कार्या कथं चात्र पश्यध्वं सहिता मम । एवमुक्तास्तदा गत्वा गरुडं वाग्भिरस्तुवन्‌

na bhīḥ kāryā kathaṃ cātra paśyadhvaṃ sahitā mama | evamuktās tadā gatvā garuḍaṃ vāgbhir astuvan ||

เศานกกล่าวว่า “อย่าหวาดกลัวเลย ที่นี่จะมีเหตุแห่งความกลัวได้อย่างไร จงพร้อมเพรียงอยู่กับเราแล้วดูด้วยตนเอง” ครั้นกล่าวดังนั้นแล้ว พวกเขาก็ไปและสรรเสริญครุฑด้วยถ้อยคำสดุดี
