वैशम्पायन उवाच तच्छुत्वा मन्दपालस्तु वचस्तेषां दिवौकसाम्‌ । क्व नु शीघ्रमपत्यं स्याद्‌ बहुलं चेत्यचिन्तयत्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tac chrutvā mandapālas tu vacas teṣāṃ divaukasām | kva nu śīghram apatyaṃ syād bahulaṃ cety acintayat ||

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า ครั้นได้ยินถ้อยคำของเหล่าเทวะแล้ว มัณฑปาละก็ครุ่นคิดลึกซึ้งว่า จะไป ณ ที่ใดจึงจะได้บุตรหลานมากมายโดยเร็ว
