Jarītā–Śārṅgā-saṃvāda: Ākhu-haraṇa and the Approach of Agni (आखुहरणं अग्न्यागमनश्च)

तथा चकार तत्‌ सर्व यथोक्त शूलपाणिना । पूर्णे तु द्वादशे वर्षे पुनरायान्महेश्वर:,भगवान्‌ रुद्रके ऐसा कहनेपर राजा श्वेतकिने शूलयाणि शिवकी आज्ञाके अनुसार सारा कार्य सम्पन्न किया। बारहवाँ वर्ष पूर्ण होनेपर भगवान्‌ महेश्वर पुन: आये

tathā cakāra tat sarvaṃ yathoktaṃ śūlapāṇinā |

pūrṇe tu dvādaśe varṣe punar āyān maheśvaraḥ ||

พระราชาทรงกระทำทุกสิ่งตามที่พระศิวะผู้ทรงตรีศูลตรัสไว้โดยเคร่งครัด ครั้นครบกำหนดสิบสองปี พระมหาอิศวรเสด็จกลับมาอีกครั้ง
