Chapter 213
वने चरेद् ब्रह्मचर्यमिति व: समय: कृत: । आपलोगोंने आपसमें यह शर्त कर रखी है कि हम लोगोंमेंसे कोई भी यदि द्रौपदीके पास रहे, उस दशामें यदि दूसरा मोहवश उस घरमें प्रवेश करे, तो वह बारह वर्षोतक वनमें रहकर ब्रह्मचर्यका पालन करे
arjuna uvāca | vane cared brahmacaryam iti vaḥ samayaḥ kṛtaḥ |
อรชุนกล่าวว่า— “พวกท่านได้ทำสัญญาร่วมกันไว้ว่า หากผู้ใดในพวกเรากำลังอยู่กับเทวีเทราปที แล้วอีกผู้หนึ่งถูกความหลงครอบงำเข้าไปในเรือนนั้น ณ เวลานั้น ผู้นั้นต้องไปอยู่ป่าเป็นเวลาสิบสองปี และประพฤติพรหมจรรย์”
