Chapter 213
तां मामनड्रग्लपितां त्वत्कृते कुरुनन्दन । अनन्यां नन्दयस्वाद्य प्रदानेनात्मनोडनघ,निष्पाप कुरुनन्दन! मैं आपके ही लिये कामदेवके तापसे जली जा रही हूँ। मैंने आपके सिवा दूसरेको अपना हृदय अर्पण नहीं किया है। अतः मुझे आत्मदान देकर आनन्दित कीजिये
tāṃ mām anāḍhya-glapitāṃ tvat-kṛte kuru-nandana | ananyāṃ nandayasvādya pradānenātmano 'nagha ||
“โอ้ความปีติแห่งวงศ์กุรุ ผู้ไร้มลทิน! เพราะท่าน ข้าถูกไฟแห่งกามเผาผลาญจนร่วงโรย ข้ามอบใจให้แก่ท่านผู้เดียว มิได้ให้แก่ผู้ใดอื่น ดังนั้นวันนี้ โปรดทำให้ข้าชื่นบานด้วยการมอบตน—ด้วยพิธีอภิเษกสมรสเถิด”
