अर्जुनस्य तीर्थयात्रा तथा मणलूर-सम्बन्धः

एतत् सर्व यथावृत्तं विस्तरेण तपोधन । श्रोतुमिच्छामहे ब्रह्मन् परं कौतूहलं हि न:,तपोधन! यह सब वृत्तान्त जिस प्रकार घटित हुआ था, वह सब हम विस्तारपूर्वक सुनना चाहते हैं। ब्रह्म! उसे सुननेके लिये हमारे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है
etad sarvaṃ yathāvṛttaṃ vistareṇa tapodhana | śrotum icchāmahe brahman paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi naḥ ||
นารทกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้เป็นขุมทรัพย์แห่งตบะ เราปรารถนาจะฟังเรื่องทั้งหมดนี้โดยพิสดาร ตามที่เกิดขึ้นจริงทุกประการ โอ้พราหมณ์ ความใคร่รู้ของเราลึกยิ่งนัก และเรากระหายจะรับฟัง”
