वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dhārmic social etiquette—beginning interactions with kuśala-praśna (welfare-inquiry) and maintaining civic harmony—along with disciplined compliance with the king’s lawful directive.
After greeting the townspeople and asking about their well-being, the group proceeds to enter and settle in the royal quarters, doing so under Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s instruction.
