राक्षसेन तदा भीम क्लिश्यमान निरीक्ष्य च । उवाचेदं वच: पार्थ: प्रहलज्छनकैरिव,भीमसेनको राक्षरद्वारा पीड़ित देख अर्जुन धीरे-धीरे हँसते हुए-से बोले--
rākṣasena tadā bhīma kliśyamānaṃ nirīkṣya ca | uvācedaṃ vacaḥ pārthaḥ prahalaj-chanakair iva ||
ครั้นเห็นภีมะถูกรากษสคุกคามอยู่ ปารถะ (อรชุน) จึงกล่าวถ้อยคำนี้ ราวกับมีรอยยิ้มอ่อนบางที่กลั้นไว้
वैशम्पायन उवाच
