कुन्ती-युधिष्ठिरसंवादः
Kuntī–Yudhiṣṭhira Dialogue on Bhīma’s Mission
एवं गते मया शक््यं यद् यत् कारयितुं हितम् | पाण्डवानां च कुन्त्याश्व तत् सर्व क्रियतां धनै:,“इस दशामें मुझे पाण्डवों तथा कुन्तीका हित करनेके लिये जो-जो कार्य करना चाहिये या जो-जो कार्य मुझसे हो सकता है, वह सब धन खर्च करके सम्पन्न किया जाय।' यों कहकर अम्बिकानन्दन धृतराष्ट्रने जातिभाइयोंसे घिरे रहकर पाण्डवोंके लिये जलांजलि देनेका कार्य किया
evaṁ gate mayā śakyaṁ yad yat kārayituṁ hitam | pāṇḍavānāṁ ca kuntyāś ca tat sarvaṁ kriyatāṁ dhanaiḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “เมื่อเรื่องมาถึงเพียงนี้ การใดที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่เหล่าปาณฑพและแก่กุนตี ซึ่งเราพอจะทำได้—สิ่งใดอยู่ในกำลัง—จงให้ทำให้ครบ แม้ต้องสิ้นเปลืองทรัพย์ก็ตาม” ครั้นกล่าวแล้ว ธฤตราษฏระ โอรสแห่งอัมพิกา รายล้อมด้วยญาติวงศ์ ได้ประกอบพิธีถวายชลาญชลีแก่โอรสของปาณฑุ
