वैशम्पायन उवाच ते तमाज्ञाय तत्त्वेन पुनरागम्य पाण्डवा: | यथावृत्तं वने सर्व द्रोणायाचख्युरद्भुतम्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! वे पाण्डवलोग उस निषादका यथार्थ परिचय पाकर लौट आये और वनमें जो अद्भुत घटना घटी थी, वह सब उन्होंने द्रोणाचार्यसे कह सुनायी
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: te tam ājñāya tattvena punar āgamya pāṇḍavāḥ | yathāvṛttaṃ vane sarvaṃ droṇāyācakhyur adbhutam ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ครั้นปาณฑพทั้งหลายได้รู้ความจริงว่าเขาผู้นั้นเป็นชาวนิษาทะผู้ใดแล้ว ก็กลับมา และได้เล่าแก่ท่านโทรณะโดยพิสดารถึงเหตุอัศจรรย์ทั้งปวงที่เกิดขึ้นในป่า ตามที่เป็นมาโดยแท้
