पाण्डोः प्रेतकार्य-सम्पादनम्

Pāṇḍu’s Funeral Rites and Public Mourning

प्रियया सह संवासं प्राप्प कामविमोहित: । त्वमप्यस्यामवस्थायां प्रेतलोक॑ गमिष्यसि,तुम भी जब कामसे सर्वथा मोहित होकर अपनी प्यारी पत्नीके साथ समागम करने लगोगे, तब इस--मेरी अवस्थामें ही यमलोक सिधारोगे

priyayā saha saṃvāsaṃ prāpya kāmavimohitaḥ | tvam apy asyām avasthāyāṃ pretalokaṃ gamiṣyasi ||

เมื่อเจ้าถูกกามราคะครอบงำจนหลงมัวเมา และได้เสพสังวาสอยู่ร่วมกับภรรยาผู้เป็นที่รัก เมื่อนั้นเจ้าเองก็จักไปสู่โลกแห่งผู้ตาย (ยมโลก) ในสภาพเช่นเดียวกับนี้
