राज्ञि धर्मानवेक्षस्व मा नः सर्वान्‌ व्यनीनश: । सत्याच्च्युति: क्षत्रियस्य न धर्मेषु प्रशस्यते,“राजमाता! धर्मकी ओर दृष्टि डालो, हम सबका नाश न करो। क्षत्रियका सत्यसे विचलित होना किसी भी धर्ममें अच्छा नहीं माना गया है

rājñi dharmān avekṣasva mā naḥ sarvān vyanīnaśaḥ | satyāccyutiḥ kṣatriyasya na dharmeṣu praśasyate ||

โอ้พระมเหสี จงเพ่งมองธรรมะเถิด อย่านำความพินาศมาสู่พวกเราทั้งปวง เพราะสำหรับกษัตริย์นักรบ การคลาดจากสัจจะมิได้เป็นที่สรรเสริญในธรรมบัญญัติใดๆ

Educational Q&A

The verse upholds satya (truthfulness) as a central pillar of kṣatriya-dharma: a ruler or warrior must not deviate from truth, and a queen/ruler should act with dharma in view to avoid collective ruin.

A speaker (reported by Vaiśampāyana) admonishes the queen to restrain herself and act according to dharma, warning that her course could destroy everyone and that abandoning truth is never commendable for a kṣatriya.
