FAQs

It establishes that Shiva-worship grounded in the Linga Purana is strengthened by Vedic revelation and its Vedangas—ensuring mantra, meter, and ritual procedure are correct, making puja efficacious.

By affirming the Veda as “accomplisher of all aims,” it implies that realization of Pati (Shiva) and release of the pashu from pasha are pursued through scripturally aligned knowledge, mantra, and rite—Shiva-tattva being approached via śāstra-pramāṇa.

Ritual accuracy is highlighted: Kalpa (procedure), Śikṣā and Chandas (correct recitation and meter) support mantra-japa and Shiva-puja; these also function as preparatory disciplines for Pashupata Yoga by purifying speech, act, and understanding.
