ध्यानयज्ञः, संसार-विष-निरूपणम्, पाशुपतयोगः, परा-अपरा विद्या, चतुर्वस्था-विचारः (अध्यायः ८६)

तमोविद्यापदच्छन्नं चित्रं यत्पदमव्ययम् सत्त्वशक्तिं समास्थाय शिवमभ्यर्चयेद्द्विजाः

tamovidyāpadacchannaṃ citraṃ yatpadamavyayam sattvaśaktiṃ samāsthāya śivamabhyarcayeddvijāḥ

แม้ถูกปกคลุมด้วยฐานะแห่งตมัสและอวิทยา แต่ปทอันไม่เสื่อมสลายนั้นยังปรากฏน่าอัศจรรย์. เพราะฉะนั้น โอทวิชะทั้งหลาย จงอาศัยพลังแห่งสัตตวะแล้วบูชาพระศิวะ
