भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)

अहर्भवति तच्चापि चरते मन्दविक्रमः त्रयोदशार्धम् ऋक्षाणि नक्तं द्वादशभी रविः मुहूर्तैस् तावद् ऋक्षाणि दिवाष्टादशभिश्चरन्

aharbhavati taccāpi carate mandavikramaḥ trayodaśārdham ṛkṣāṇi naktaṃ dvādaśabhī raviḥ muhūrtais tāvad ṛkṣāṇi divāṣṭādaśabhiścaran

นี้แลเรียกว่า ‘อะหะห์’ (หนึ่งวัน). พระอาทิตย์ผู้เคลื่อนอย่างนุ่มนวล ในยามราตรีด้วยสิบสองมุหูรตะย่อมผ่านนักษัตรสิบสามครึ่ง; และในยามกลางวันด้วยสิบแปดมุหูรตะย่อมผ่านนักษัตรได้เท่าเดิม.
