เพื่อความบริสุทธิ์แห่งหมู่บรรพชน (ปิตฤ-ปังกติ) พึงประกอบพิธีตามที่กำหนดด้วยจำนวน ‘ครึ่งร้อย’ ตามคัมภีร์ เมื่อได้ความเจริญแล้วพึงทำเป็นอันดับแรกไม่ชักช้า; ส่วนศูทรนั้นพึงทำตามกำลังและฐานะของตนเอง.
