vṛṣotsargadānadharmaputrādipraśaṃsanaṃ nāma trayodaśo 'dhyāyaḥ garuḍa uvāca / ārtena mriyamāṇena yaddattaṃ tatphalaṃ vada / svasthāvasthena dattena vidhihīnena vā vibho

นี่คือบทที่สิบสาม ชื่อว่า “การสรรเสริญผลบุญแห่งทานวฤโษตสรรค์ (ปล่อยโคเพศผู้), ธรรมะ และบุตรผู้กตัญญูเป็นต้น” ครุฑทูลว่า: ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นใหญ่ โปรดตรัสบอกผลแห่งทานที่ผู้ทุกข์ทรมานและใกล้มรณะได้ให้ไว้ และผลแห่งทานที่ให้ในยามสุขภาพดี—หรือแม้ให้โดยขาดพิธีอันถูกต้องด้วยเถิด.
