अपसव्यं क्षितौ दर्भे दत्ताः पिण्डास्त्रयस्तु वै / यान्ति तांस्तर्पयन्त्येवं प्रेतस्थानस्थितान्पितॄन्

apasavyaṃ kṣitau darbhe dattāḥ piṇḍāstrayastu vai / yānti tāṃstarpayantyevaṃ pretasthānasthitānpitṝn

เมื่อสวมยัชโญปวีตในแบบอปสวฺยะ แล้วถวายปิณฑะสามก้อนบนพื้นดินเหนือหญ้าทรรภะ ปิณฑะนั้นย่อมไปถึงและยังความอิ่มเอิบแก่เหล่าปิตฤผู้สถิตในภาวะเปรต।
