Related Themes: Garuda Purana: bhakti passages praising ananya-bhakti and tyāga (general thematic parallel)
This verse presents ananya-bhāva—undivided inner intent—as the mark of true devotion, emphasizing steadfast commitment to the Divine above competing desires.
It describes the extreme detachment of those wholly devoted—renouncing worldly actions and attachments for the Divine—highlighting inner prioritization rather than encouraging neglect without discernment.
Cultivate steady devotion and reduce possessiveness: perform responsibilities with less attachment, and let spiritual commitment guide choices over social pressure.
