Śrī Kṛṣṇa (Hari/Viṣṇu)
Concept: Īśvara is immanent in principles yet remains relationless; creation begins by His activating impulse (kṣobha) without personal attachment.
Vedantic Theme: Acintya-śakti / māyā-kṣobha with asaṅgatva; the Lord as both upādāna-nimitta in a theistic cosmology while untouched by guṇas.
Application: Contemplate agency without attachment: act in the world while remaining inwardly non-clinging; meditate on Hari as the inner mover (antaryāmin).
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana (cosmogony sections describing tattva-sṛṣṭi and brahmāṇḍa formation)
This verse frames tattvas as the fundamental principles of manifestation, showing that the Lord both pervades them and activates them, making cosmology a theistic yet philosophically precise teaching.
By stating that Hari enters and governs the tattvas while remaining unattached, it implies the soul’s journey through subtle and gross principles occurs within a divinely ordered system, not random fate.
Cultivate responsibility within the world of causes (guṇas/tattvas) while practicing inner non-attachment—acting without clinging, as the Lord is described as ‘saṃbandha-vidhura’.
