This verse shows that the Garuda Purana also preserves practical guidance on health—linking bodily well-being with a disciplined, dharmic life through traditional plant-based remedies.
Indirectly: by emphasizing freedom from disease, it supports the idea that maintaining the body and vitality is part of righteous living, which in turn aids one’s spiritual steadiness and preparedness for life’s transitions.
Treat it as a traditional reference: consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before using any herb, and take the broader takeaway—care for health through disciplined, sattvic habits and informed remedies.
