กุษฐะที่กล่าวว่ามีรูปคล้ายลิ้นของฤๅษี เรียกว่า ‘ฤษยชิหวา’ (Ṛṣyajihvā) และมีหนอนมาก ส่วนกุษฐะที่สัมผัสหยาบกร้านดุจหนังช้าง เรียกว่า ‘จรมาขยะ’ (Carmākhya)
