FAQs

This verse frames Chandra-arghya as a formal act of reverence and purification, performed with humility (kneeling), using a lineage-based invocation that sacralizes the offering.

Indirectly, it supports the Garuda Purana’s broader emphasis that correct rites and disciplined conduct refine one’s spiritual condition, which in turn impacts post-death transitions and auspicious outcomes.

Perform ritual actions with humility and clarity of intention—when doing traditional observances (like lunar offerings), follow prescribed posture and invocation to cultivate steadiness, reverence, and inner purification.
