नैमिषेऽनिमिषक्षेत्रे ऋषय: शौनकादय: । सत्रं स्वर्गायलोकाय सहस्रसममासत ॥ ४ ॥

naimiṣe ’nimiṣa-kṣetre ṛṣayaḥ śaunakādayaḥ satraṁ svargāya lokāya sahasra-samam āsata

Translation

ณป่าไนมิษารัณยะ ในแดนศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่เรียกว่าอนิมิษะ-เกษตร ฤๅษีทั้งหลายมีศาวนกะเป็นประธานได้ชุมนุมกันประกอบสัตรยัญยาวนานพันปี เพื่อความพอพระทัยของพระผู้เป็นเจ้าและเหล่าภักตะ และเพื่อบรรลุสวรรค์โลก
