FAQs

This verse indicates that what is most proper for human life is to inquire about and hear the wondrous pastimes of Lord Viṣṇu—Viṣṇu-kathā—as a spiritually elevating, purifying pursuit.

Because the brāhmaṇa sages asked him what is most suitable for humanity, and Sūta answers by narrating Viṣṇu’s extraordinary deeds as the essential, dharmic response to their inquiry.

Make time to sincerely hear and study Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and other Viṣṇu-centered teachings, letting that hearing shape your priorities, values, and daily choices toward devotion and inner clarity.
