Transliteration

tulya-śruta-tapaḥ-śīlās tulya-svīyāri-madhyamāḥ api cakruḥ pravacanam ekaṁ śuśrūṣavo ’pare

Translation

แม้ฤๅษีเหล่านั้นจะเสมอกันทั้งในพระเวท ตบะ และความประพฤติ และมองมิตร ศัตรู และผู้เป็นกลางด้วยใจเสมอภาค แต่พวกเขาก็เลือกผู้หนึ่งเป็นผู้กล่าวธรรม ส่วนที่เหลือเป็นผู้ฟังด้วยความใคร่สดับ
