evaṁ nirbhartsya māyāvī khaḍgenānakadundubheḥ utkṛtya śira ādāya kha-sthaṁ saubhaṁ samāviśat

หลังจากที่เขาเยาะเย้ยพระองค์เช่นนี้แล้ว จอมขมังเวทย์ศาลวะก็ดูเหมือนจะตัดศีรษะของพระวสุเทวะด้วยดาบของเขา เมื่อนำศีรษะไปด้วย เขาก็เข้าไปในยานเสาภะซึ่งลอยอยู่บนท้องฟ้า
