FAQs

This verse says the gopīs’ burning fever of separation was eased by Kṛṣṇa’s messages—hearing and remembering Him acts as direct spiritual medicine for the devotee’s heart.

They recognized Uddhava as intimately connected with Kṛṣṇa—like His own ‘self’ or trusted representative—and therefore honored him as one who carries the Lord’s presence through His message.

When feeling distance from God, take shelter of His words—Bhagavatam, kīrtana, and sincere hearing—because divine remembrance and guidance can calm inner turmoil and reawaken devotion.
