FAQs

In this verse, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma free Devakī and Vasudeva and then bow to them, touching their feet—showing that reverence to parents is an essential part of dharma even for the Supreme Lord’s avatāra.

Having released them from imprisonment, They immediately offered respectful obeisance as sons, affirming family dharma and expressing humility and affection within Their divine līlā.

Serve and honor your parents/guardians with gratitude—especially after helping them through difficulties—by offering respect, care, and responsible support as an expression of dharma and devotion.
