FAQs

This verse shows Sudāmā’s immediate reverence—he rises and bows with his head to the ground—illustrating that humility and honoring the Lord are natural expressions of devotion.

Because he recognized Them as worshipable and received Them as the Supreme Lord and His elder brother; his respectful prostration reflects surrender and bhakti upon Their arrival.

Cultivate humility and respect in devotion—greet the Divine with sincerity (prayer, namaskāra, service), and treat sacred guests, teachers, and devotees with honor.
