Akrūra’s Mission: The Departure from Vraja and the Yamunā Vision of Viṣṇu-Ananta
बृहत्कटितटश्रोणिकरभोरुद्वयान्वितम् । चारुजानुयुगं चारुजङ्घायुगलसंयुतम् ॥ ४९ ॥ तुङ्गगुल्फारुणनखव्रातदीधितिभिर्वृतम् । नवाङ्गुल्यङ्गुष्ठदलैर्विलसत् पादपङ्कजम् ॥ ५० ॥
bṛhat-kati-tata-śroṇi karabhoru-dvayānvitam cāru-jānu-yugaṁ cāru jaṅghā-yugala-saṁyutam
ข้อเท้าทรงสูงงาม ถูกโอบล้อมด้วยรัศมีจากเล็บที่ส่องประกาย และนิ้วเท้าทั้งเก้ากับนิ้วหัวแม่เท้าดุจกลีบบัว ทำให้พระบาทดั่งดอกบัวงามยิ่งนัก
This verse glorifies Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet as radiant and exquisitely formed, emphasizing their beauty and auspiciousness as an object of loving remembrance (smaraṇa) for devotees.
In the context of Uddhava’s visit to Vraja (Chapter 39), the narration heightens devotional remembrance of Kṛṣṇa’s form—especially for the gopīs absorbed in separation—by detailing His divine beauty.
Use it for rūpa-dhyāna: calmly contemplate Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet and form while chanting, letting the mind rest on devotional beauty rather than distraction.
