Govardhana-dhāraṇa: Kṛṣṇa Lifts Govardhana and Humbles Indra
niryāta tyajata trāsaṁ gopāḥ sa-strī-dhanārbhakāḥ upārataṁ vāta-varṣaṁ vyuda-prāyāś ca nimnagāḥ
In this verse the cowherds are told to abandon fear because the storm has ceased—showing that those sheltered by Kṛṣṇa are ultimately protected from calamity.
After taking shelter during Indra’s storm, they are informed that the wind and rain have stopped and the rivers have cleared, so they can safely emerge without anxiety.
When crises pass, one should step forward without lingering fear, remembering that sincere dependence on the Lord brings steadiness and relief.
