Kṛṣṇa Swallows the Forest Fire (Dāvāgni-līlā) and Restores the Herd

In Canto 10, Chapter 19, the cowherd boys locate their herd in the Muñja forest, but being thirsty and tired they turn back—setting the scene for Kṛṣṇa’s protective pastime that follows.
Their herd had wandered off the path and was crying out in the forest, so the boys went to find them and bring them safely back.
When responsibilities feel overwhelming (like being “thirsty and fatigued”), take wise steps—pause, retrace, and seek safe guidance—remembering that sincere effort and dependence on the Lord bring protection.
