द्वीपं रमणकं हित्वा ह्रदमेतमुपाश्रित: । यद्भयत्स सुपर्णस्त्वां नाद्यान्मत्पादलाञ्छितम् ॥ ६३ ॥
dvīpaṁ ramaṇakaṁ hitvā hradam etam upāśritaḥ yad-bhayāt sa suparṇas tvāṁ nādyān mat-pāda-lāñchitam
ด้วยความกลัวต่อครุฑผู้เป็นสุปัรณะ เจ้าจึงละเกาะรมณกะแล้วมาพึ่งพิงสระนี้ แต่บัดนี้เจ้าถูกประทับด้วยรอยพระบาทของเรา ครุฑจึงจะไม่พยายามกินเจ้าอีกต่อไป
